Meet Our Team!
Dr. Kelly Amorose, DC, CACCP
Dr. Kelly was born and raised in Uniontown, PA. Her first chiropractic experience was during her sophomore year of high school, when she had lost distance in her javelin throws while competing in track & field. After just several adjustments, she had thrown her personal best. Dr. Kelly also realized that she wasn’t experiencing headaches or motion sickness anymore, which occurred on a regular basis. She admired a profession that could help individuals live more active, healthier lives without the use of drugs or surgeries.
She earned a BS in Biology from Slippery Rock University, then relocated to Atlanta, GA with Dr. Lucas to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University, which is the largest chiropractic school in the world. Dr. Kelly focused on her passion of caring for children and pregnant women. She is Webster Technique certified and Advanced Proficiency certified in the Activator Methods Technique. She has completed a 200-hour advanced training program with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to be Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP), and is the only chiropractor in the North Hills to have done so.
Dr. Lucas Amorose, DC
Dr. Lucas is a native Pittsburgher, growing up in Greentree. He first experienced chiropractic care after sustaining an injury during a high school football game. He felt instant relief, but didn’t consider chiropractic care as preventative health care until he met Dr. Kelly’s chiropractor in Uniontown, who explained that the adjustment allowed his brain and body to communicate properly! This resonated with Dr. Lucas and his efforts of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and decided to pursue a life mission of helping others live life to the fullest.
Dr. Lucas earned his BA in Biology from Slippery Rock University. Initially at Life University, Dr. Lucas was set on practicing sports chiropractic and working with athletes until Dr. Kelly convinced him to hear a pediatric chiropractor speak. He then realized that when a child is adjusted, there’s no telling how far reaching that adjustment will go. From that moment, Dr. Lucas focused on providing chiropractic care for the whole family. He is Advanced Proficiency certified in Activator Methods technique, and he believes that chiropractic is the keystone to keeping your family happy, healthy, and thriving!
Baker The Beagle
Practice Member Greeter
Baker first came to the doctors at 8-months-old. While Dr. Kelly had grown up with beagles, she had never met one like Baker. He would not eat more than 1/4 cup of food. For those of you know who know about beagles, there must be something very wrong if they turn down food! They switched his food, gave him lots of treats, but nothing was improving his appetite. While attending chiropractic college, they brought Baker to an animal chiropractor to have his nervous system assessed. This chiropractor first introduced Drs. Kelly and Lucas to BioGeometric Integration (BGI) which is an energy-based assessment.
The doctors had no idea at the time what this woman was doing with their pup, but they hoped it might help with his digestive issues. Tension was found in his diaphragm which may have been constricting his stomach. After his first day of adjustments, and some playtime with other chiro dogs, we returned home. Baker ate over 2 cups of dog food that evening! He’s been eating like a beagle ever since! Baker is a true testimonial that anyone and anything can benefit from a nervous system functioning at 100%!
